Schedule & Cancel a UPS pickup in Postsale

Schedule and manage pickups for your UPS packages directly in Postsale.
Before We Begin
This article assumes that:
- You have a UPS account added to Postsale
- You have at least one UPS package ready to be picked up

Check with the Carrier
Before scheduling a pickup, it’s a good idea to check with the carrier to see if there are any extra fees to do so and to make sure that pickups are available in your area.
Schedule and Cancel UPS Pickups
Schedule a Pickup
To schedule a UPS pickup:
- Select End of Day from the Order Actions Menu.
- Select the Schedule Pickup tab.
- Select the UPS account.
- Click the + Schedule button.
- Verify that the Pickup Address is correct. Click Edit if you need to update the address.
- Select the Pickup Date from the calendar pop-up.
- Specify the time range for the pickup:
- Ready Time: The time after which the pickup can be picked up.

Close Time: The latest time the pickup can be picked up.
- Enter a location that clearly describes where the packages will be physically located, such as “Load Dock”, “Front Door”, or “Reception”.
- Enter any special instructions for this pickup into the Special Instructions field.
Next, enter the information about the packages being picked up. Follow the below steps to create an entry for each country/container/service combination included in the pickup.
For example, if you have packages being shipped to Italy using UPS Worldwide Express and packages being shipped in the United States using UPS Ground you would create two entries.
- Click the + Add button.
- Enter the following information. Then, click the Add button.
- Destination Country
- Container
- Service

Quantity
The entry is added to the pickup.
- Repeat steps 10 and 11 for each destination country/container/service combination of packages included in the pickup.
- Enter the Total Weight of all packages included in the pickup. Then, click the Next button.
- Enter a contact phone number for the pickup. Then, click the Submit button.
The pickup is created and is displayed in the list of pickups. 
Pickups Cannot be Edited
Once a pickup has been scheduled it cannot be edited or modified. When you need to change a pickup, please cancel the current pickup and create a new one with the correct date and time.
Cancel a Pickup
To cancel a pickup:
- Select End of Day from the Order Actions Menu.
- Select the Schedule Pickup tab.
- Select the UPS account.
- Select the pickup you wish to cancel. Then, click the Cancel button.
- Click Okay to verify that you wish to cancel the selected pickup.
The pickup is canceled and removed from the list of pickups.
