Sets the default setting when creating an international shipment with FedEx. Select who will pay for any import taxes or customs fees from the drop-down menu:

  • Sender – You, the merchant, pay for customs duties.

  • Third Party – Someone else (like a shipping partner) will pay.
  • Collect – The recipient must pay upon delivery.

Upload International Signature & Letterhead Images

FedEx uses Electronic Trade Documents (ETD) to submit international documents and customs forms electronically so that customs documents do not need to be printed and attached to the shipment. In order to use ETD, FedEx requires you to upload an image of your letterhead and signature to your FedEx account.

Letterhead & Signature Image Requirements

  • Must be a GIF or PNG file format
  • Signature image maximum dimensions: 240 x 25 pixels
  • Letterhead image maximum dimensions: 700 x 500 pixels

If your file sizes are not correct, Postsale will resize the images when uploaded to meet the FedEx image size requirements.

Use the Upload Signature Image and Upload Letterhead Image buttons in the International Settings section to navigate to, select, and upload your images.
